As an Associate Lecturer in Physiotherapy, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and conducting impactful research in the field. You will contribute to the development, delivery and assessment of units related to neurological and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, preparing students for careers in healthcare and related fields. You will also provide to support to the Clinical Education Manager in coordinating physiotherapy clinical placements.

Position Requirements

 

  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions on various aspects of neurological and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, using innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Develop course materials, assessments, and learning resources to enhance student learning outcomes and engagement.
  • Provide academic and clinical placement support and guidance to students, including advising on research projects and career pathways.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and review processes to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct research related to your primary interest area leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals and grant applications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to promote interdisciplinary research and teaching initiatives.
