The Opportunity
As a Level A research-only academic, your primary responsibilities include conducting supervised research, contributing to publications and presentations, engaging in professional activities, and performing limited administrative tasks related to your research area. You'll also develop research-related teaching materials, occasionally contribute to teaching, and attend relevant meetings.
As the successful candidate, you will have an honours degree or higher qualification in Economics/Finance/Econometrics with some exposure to Data Science or have equivalent qualifications or research experience; or an honours degree or higher qualifications in Data Science with some exposure to Economics/Finance.
You will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to produce clear reports. You'll showcase well-developed planning and organisational abilities, adept at managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Expertise in analytical software, and willingness to engage in projects related to retirement, sustainable investing, and modern slavery are valued contributions to our team.
