Joining our Talent Community

Responsibilities will include preparing and delivering tutorials, assessing assignments, conducting student consultations, and fostering a positive learning environment.

We are also seeking interest from Facilitators, to assist in activity-based seminars, tutorials, and workshops, and Academic Researchers to join our research projects and initiatives.

About the Faculty

Southern Cross University’s Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is a service unit providing resources, advice and strategies to support and advance teaching and learning excellence for staff at SCU. The Centre’s work is underpinned by a learning-centred approach which positions learning at the centre of decisions and practice. This approach acknowledges the attributes and active roles of students, teachers, the disciplines, research and the community. Staff from the Centre work side by side with academic staff to implement the University’s strategic directions. The Centre also manages university-wide teaching and learning projects from time to time.

Areas of expertise that align with the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) include Curriculum Design and Development, Teaching and Learning Engagement, Educational Technologies / Enhanced Learning and Professional Learning.
