The Multimedia and AV Technologies Team at UNSW is responsible for installing and upgrading audio-visual systems in both teaching and professional spaces. They also provide support to staff and students for their multimedia and AV needs. The team is equipped to deploy and maintain a variety of standard and customized technologies, including those required in teaching spaces, meeting spaces, new installations, and regular maintenance of those spaces. Our services include support for students and staff in teaching spaces, as well as all other AV needs.

Why Your Role Matters:

The Multimedia and AV Technologies Team are responsible for providing superior customer services and delivering audio-visual services to internal clients. You will work with a highly skilled team to fault find, work through fault resolution, configure and stage hardware ready for deployment.

We are committed to ensuring our teaching spaces are always running optimally and have a significant hardware refresh underway. Familiarity of AV hardware particularly in an education setting will help you hit the ground running as part of the team.

You will be responsible for checking AV systems are functioning as indented and reporting issues to the greater team to assist with resolution the faults.

Who You Are:

You have experience working within the audio-visual industry, as well as:

  • AV fault finding
  • Basic configuration of AV technology
  • Installing new AV components
  • Delivering an excellent customer experience
