James Cook University Brisbane is a campus of James Cook University operated in partnership with Russo Higher Education Pty Ltd which exclusively provides its students with a unique and professional training and employment service. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional services to our students and employers alike.
We are currently seeking to employ an Admissions Officer to join our team based in Brisbane CBD. The Officer will be responsible for assessing the eligibility of and processing applications for intending candidates to study at JCU Brisbane.
This position involves a high level of email correspondence and phone communication with students, agents, JCU and many government organisations where a professional and efficient response is required at all times. The applicant will have outstanding customer service skills and will be able to liaise and provide advice to all areas and levels of the University.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Experience in admissions and course administration in a tertiary environment.
Completion of an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.
Proven commitment to quality customer service.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, particularly students from non-English speaking backgrounds.
Demonstrated attention to detail in documentation and data entry.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team in a front-line customer service role.
