Project Overview
The Business Optimisation Strategy (BOS) Program is seeking experienced professionals across the Business Analyst function to drive a large-scale ERP transformation. These roles are critical in ensuring the University is fully prepared to adopt new systems and realise long-term strategic benefits. The focus is on designing and executing program lifecycles to ensure that complex organisational changes are clearly understood and sustainably embedded across both academic and professional staff.
These positions champion a people-centred and future-focused approach to building institutional capability and strengthening adoption. Positions within this EOI report into the BOS Program Manager - Enterprise Service Management, with matrix accountability to the EPMO and may involve managing specific project workstreams or deliverables.
Responsibilities and Skills
Across all functional focus areas within these Business Analyst opportunities, all roles will share a core set of universal responsibilities and required experience:
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across complex or enterprise-level initiatives, from problem identification and business case development through to solution design, testing support, and post-implementation review.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify strategic requirements, assess impacts, and align business and technology outcomes with institutional objectives.
- Demonstrated experience within ServiceNow or Oracle Fusion highly desired.
- Design and document as-is and to-be business processes and solution models that span multiple systems, data domains, and functional units.
- Provide high-level expertise in business analysis techniques and tools, including process mapping, data analysis, and requirements elicitation within structured and agile delivery environments.
- Lead enterprise testing efforts, including defining test cases and validating deliverables against business requirements through User Acceptance Testing.
- Guide and mentor other business analysts to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with institutional standards and documentation practices.
- Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex interdependencies and develop practical, scalable solutions for the division.
