Part-time (80%), fixed-term position for up to 6 months.
Base salary will be in the range $98,582 - $107,349 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 7)

About This Opportunity
We are looking for a Clinical Trial Supervisor/Clinical Research Supervisor to join our research team at UQCCR, based in the Herston precinct. In this role, you will manage and oversee clinical trials contributing to Parkinson's Disease research.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multi-centre investigator-initiated studies, from feasibility to start-up/initiation, as well as supporting the daily operations of research projects and clinical trials. You will also work closely with Chief Investigators and Clinical Trial Coordinators to ensure the smooth coordination of these trials.
Key responsibilities will include: (Maximum 3-4 points)
Prepare research project documents, including ethics and governance submissions, study protocols, case report forms, and assist with database development. Ensure compliance with ICH Good Clinical Practice Guidelines and relevant legislation.
Oversee the progress of clinical trials, ensuring effective communication with collaborators and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on research activities and trial outcomes.
Manage recruitment strategies and assess patients for inclusion in trials. Ensure patient safety and report adverse events in line with ethics and regulatory requirements.
Mentor and supervise junior research staff, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

About You
Possession of tertiary qualifications in Science or related Health field and further qualifications in clinical trial management.
Strong knowledge and experience in managing clinical trials, adhering to ICH Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice, and the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research involving Humans.
Familiarity with the regulatory and ethical requirements for clinical trials in Australia, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, ensuring tasks are completed on time, to a high standard, and with strict confidentiality.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia and mandatory immunisations
