We now have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Future Student Contact Officer to join our International team.

- $ 68,694.55- $ 72,973.30 per year plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position supports the International Admissions team by delivering exceptional lead management services and innovative conversion strategies to prospective students, contributing directly to the achievement of our enrolment targets.
As a key point of contact for prospective international students, you will provide outstanding customer service, ensuring all interactions are professional, efficient, culturally sensitive and aligned with JCU's policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant record-keeping to support data integrity and informed decision-making.
In this role, you will collaborate within a dynamic, high-performing team that values respect, teamwork, and innovation. Your contributions will help shape a positive and engaging experience for future international students, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Marketing, Future Student, and Admissions function.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or certificate qualifications related to the role or a combination of relevant education/training and experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in a sales, student recruitment, customer service or contact centre environment utilising consultative and solution sales techniques.
- Proven customer service skills in managing high numbers of inquiries, providing information and advice, exercising confidentiality and discretion with complex matters.
- Informed organisational problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise judgement to manage own workflow and prioritise to ensure deadlines and targets are met in a high-volume work environment.
- Effective computer and data entry skills using the Microsoft Office suite and ability to adapt to the use of new software packages with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills in dealing with people from a variety of backgrounds both internal and external to the organisation.
- Sound knowledge of University student policies, procedures or protocols and the tertiary entrance application process (desirable).
- Experience as an international student or living abroad (desirable)

- It is a requirement of this position to participate in operational activity outside of the recognised normal span of hours
