Macquarie University is seeking enthusiastic and energetic current students to join our dynamic Student Belonging Activator team! This role offers the chance to make a real impact by welcoming new students and fostering a vibrant campus environment, all while developing valuable skills for your future career 

What will you do? 

As a Student Belonging Activator for 2025, you will have the opportunity to: 

• Play a pivotal role in the Student Engagement, Inclusion, and Belonging team. 

• Be a friendly face and source of support for new and current students. 

• Lead on-campus activations and engagement activities (e.g., Destress for Success, Mindful May). 

• Participate in calling campaigns to connect with students and provide information about Macquarie programs and services. 

• Offer wayfinding assistance to students, ensuring they have a smooth experience on campus. 

• Provide feedback to help improve projects and engagement activities, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. 

• Develop essential employability skills, opening doors to other job opportunities within the university.

• Initiative and a "can-do" attitude to excel in a dynamic, project-based environment. 

• The ability to connect and engage with students from diverse backgrounds. 

• An interest in or experience with presenting workshops and activities. 

• A willingness to be agile, proactive, and flexible in the role. 

• A commitment to reliability and adaptability in a role with a variable schedule.
