• Salary Package: From $97,783 - $106,018 per annum (HEW Level 7), plus 17% superannuation.
• Appointment Type: Full-time, continuing role.
• Location: Macquarie University, North Ryde


We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PACE & Employability Coordinator to join the team within Graduate & Employability Success. The role coordinates the delivery of ‘work integrated learning activities’ in PACE units, as part of the University’s flagship work integrated learning program and will be closely associated with the Macquarie Business School and the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

About You

Reporting to the PACE & Employability Manager you will demonstrate experience and understanding of employability, work integrated learning and factors affecting graduate success. You will understand the importance of high-quality service and be able to leverage technology to deliver process improvements. You are someone who takes pride in stakeholder engagement and maintains a high level of relationship with all internal and external stakeholders, especially students.

About Us

Professional and Community Engagement (PACE) is a University-wide initiative designed to provide undergraduate students with work integrated learning opportunities with a range partners to improve employability as part of their Degree.  PACE units provide an academic framework through which students can engage with the community, learn through participation, develop their capabilities and build the skills valued by employers.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of employability, work integrated learning and factors affecting graduate success,

  • Evidence of relationship management skills across diverse students and stakeholders,

  • Established track record in coordinating activities to meet deadlines across the student lifecycle

  • Strong organisational skills and savviness with technologies,

  • Demonstrated ability to implement, evaluate and report against business processes in line with performance objectives, and

  • Knowledge of governance, policy and administrative frameworks in the University sector.
