A dynamic and strategic leader with extensive knowledge of high-level research in the health and medical sector and its translation into clinical practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational leader to achieve real change in the delivery of healthcare in Western Australia.

About WAHTN:

The WAHTN is accredited by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) as a Research Translation Centre. WAHTN is a collaboration of twenty-three Partner Organisations and operates as a multi-site, state-wide, collaborative health translation network, which brings together WA's universities, medical research institutes, public and private hospitals and service providers, PathWest and the WA Department of Health, to embrace and accelerate the translation of health and medical research into improved patient care.

WAHTN promotes and supports health research and its translation into clinical practice through stakeholder engagement, advocacy, leadership and a series of enabling platforms that catalyse, facilitate and unify researchers across WA. As a member of the Australian Health Research Alliance (AHRA), WAHTN collaborates with nine other accredited Research Translation Centres across the Country to upscale and drive transformational change.

The University of Western Australia (UWA) acts as Centre Agent for the twenty-three Partner Organisations that are members of WAHTN. As Centre Agent, UWA provides business support to the WAHTN.
