What you can accomplish in the role
Working onsite at the JCU teaching facilities, you will ensure adequate veterinary care is being provided for agricultural animals kept on site for teaching and research purposes including cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, and horses. With an opportunity to participate in curriculum design and development in the veterinary program, you will provide clinical instruction in production animal medicine and surgery, particularly in bovine reproduction.

What you will bring to the role
With an enthusiasm and passion for Veterinary science, you will hold a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary science or equivalent and be eligible for immediate registration in Queensland. You will bring knowledge of animal care and use regulations, policies and current standards for veterinary practices and procedures.  Your ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary academics, community and professional bodies will see you excel in this interesting and rewarding role educating the Vets of the future.
