What you can accomplish in the role
As a valued member of the curriculum management team for veterinary science you will have the rewarding experience of contributing to the development & management of the undergraduate curriculum, as well as teaching into the animal handling & husbandry curriculum. You will also work in conjunction with another Academic Coordinator to develop and drive teaching innovation via the skills development program and future teaching technologies such as virtual reality.  You will also act as the academic advisor for farm placements, field trips and industry engagement activities for the younger years of the veterinary science course.
What you will bring to the role
With an enthusiasm and passion for Veterinary science you will ideally have experience in working in an academic environment, especially the area of subject coordination.   With strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to working as a member of a cohesive, like-minded teaching and clinical team, you will thrive in a dynamic environment as you contribute to driving the teaching agenda forward and future proofing the veterinary sciences program at JCU.
