Job Description:

A full-time and continuing appointment; this position can be based at either the JCU Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas or the JCU Cairns Nguma-bada campus, Smithfield. Remuneration at Academic Level E $178,793 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.
 
What you can accomplish in the role
Working in a leadership role, you will foster and develop the capacity of others within the College and Academic Group. As an experienced educator, you will teach into undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research programs, supervise Higher Degree Research candidates, work collaboratively with schools in the Tropics and beyond, liaise with relevant organisations and stakeholders, and support the University’s Strategic Intent.
 
What you will bring to the role
As an established educational leader of international standing, you will have an exemplary record of accomplishments across the domains of teaching, learning and curriculum development; research and scholarship; community engagement and professional activities. Through collaboration and engagement, you have developed strong working relationships with colleagues, professional associations and relevant industry bodies.
