We offer an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, International (Asia, Africa and Oceania) to join our world-leading institution at James Cook University (JCU).   This position is offered as a full-time, continuing appointment and is based at the JCU Bebegu Yumba campus in Townsville.
 
What you can accomplish in the Role
Reporting to the Director International, the Associate Director, International (Asia, Africa and Oceania) works as part of the international management team and with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute the international student recruitment plan, aligned to the One JCU International Strategy.  You will also manage international marketing, recruitment and conversion strategies in the allocated regions of Asia, Africa and Oceania, and oversee the market research and launch of new products as well as the promotion of existing products, brand positioning and communication campaigns.
 
What you will bring to the Role
You will demonstrate excellent self-management and time management skills with a proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.  Your collaborative leadership and team management skills should be complemented by an expert knowledge of current and emerging trends in higher education products and programs including transnational education, online programs, collaborative and third-party delivery models and experience in the promotion and sale thereof.  Strategic planning, a history of collaborative engagement with a broad range of relevant internal and external stakeholders and your ability to engender a positive culture will be essential.
