We offer an exciting opportunity for an Associate Lecturer, Field Education in Social Work ($67,010 - $89,541) to join our world-leading institution at James Cook University (JCU).   A full time; fixed term appointment, this position is based at the JCU Nguma-bada Campus in tropical Cairns
 
What can you accomplish in the Role
With a recent increase in international student numbers, this teaching specialist position undertakes lectures and tutorials in field education subjects, within our social work programs.   You will champion work placement opportunities for our students through innovative strategies, supervisor and student support and developing a network of key stakeholders.
 
What will you bring to the Role
As someone with experience at a tertiary level in social work and/or human services, you will demonstrate the ability to teach and embrace antiracist and cross-cultural ways of working and contribute to the ongoing embedding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander worldviews and perspectives into the social work curricula.
