Reporting to the Reputation and Brand Manager, the Reputation and Brand Coordinator will support the marketing and communications activities outlined in the University’s inaugural Reputation Action Plan (RAP) focused on the China market. The China RAP has been developed with the objective of providing a clear strategic framework to address the ‘reputation gap’ between our ‘hard’ performance in global rankings (citations, papers published) and the ‘soft’ perceptions of our key influencers (academic peers, researchers, employers, industry).
The RAP aims to establish a whole of University marketing strategy for China that in time will be embedded into business as usual activities. Effectively communicating UNSW’s massive list of achievements – and highlighting the 2025 Strategy’s progress in academic excellence, social engagement and global impact – is critical to our goal to be recognised as a top 50 institution.

About the Successful Applicant
With a strong marketing and communications background, the successful Reputation and Brand Coordinator will have knowledge of current practice in relevant aspects of marketing, and customer relationship management and future trends in areas targeting the China market. The Reputation and Brand Coordinator will have experience developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies as well as the ability to manage budgets effectively.
