- Join an exciting, new automation team at UWA where you will be trained to identity and apply intelligent automation solutions, such as robotic process automation, in transforming UWA’s business processes.
- Level 6, full-time appointment on a 2 year fixed term basis
- Salary range: $80,902.00 to $85,500.00 plus 17% superannuation

UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.
Robust, flexible, integrated and agile enterprise architecture, information and technology services are vital to enabling the university strategic objectives.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Software Engineer, you will identify and automate process using robotic process automation software. You will be responsible for ensuring that automation solutions are developed, documented and maintained in alignment with best practices and internal standards. You will also work on automating business processes as part of UWA The Services Project.
About you
You will have relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated competency and relevant experience developing, implementing, integrating, repairing and maintaining application systems. You will have knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle and/or an interest in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). In addition, you will demonstrate an ability to gather and document requirements appropriate to the applied methodology (e.g. agile), to recognise and resolve system related problems and make necessary decisions within guidelines, and be self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and keep abreast of advancement in intelligent automation.
