The team

Digital and Creative Services (DCS) is the University’s creative agency on campus. Our passionate team delivers end-to-end project management and services to meet University clients’ digital and print needs. Talented designers; website-building specialists; digital, business and accessibility analysts; social media experts and keen content writers all contribute to bringing our clients’ creative visions to life.

About the opportunity

In this role, you will develop and implement digital communication strategies to support the University’s position and reputation through a consistent and creative online presence.

To be considered for this role, you will have or be able to demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
  • Highly-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt to different audiences
  • Substantial experience managing social media accounts and campaigns; using social media management tools and the ability to source and curate content
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and image editing software
  • Advanced customer service skills and the ability to recognise potential risks to brand reputation and to respond accordingly
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work productively as part of a team, as well as independently, and contribute to a high-performing, positive team culture

About you

You will possess extensive experience managing social media channels for a corporate organisation. Your experience will include creating posts, managing imagery, carrying out risk assessments, monitoring and responding to enquiries on social media channels and working within a brand framework. As a committed individual, you will keep up-to-date with new social media opportunities and market trends. You will be a creative individual eager to join a team that nurtures innovation.
